Groovecast - S3 Ep7: GrooveGuest Neal Wilkinson Pt.1

Hello and welcome to a particularly special interview episode of Groovecast.

In todays episode we're diving deep into the career of one of the UK's most prolific session and touring drummers, Neal Wilkinson. In Part 1, Neal tells us about his musical beginnings, from playing the working mens clubs to cruising around the world and how he eventually made the transition to working and living in London.

You'll also hear how Phil Collins & James Taylor's Bassist Leland Sklar helped him adjust to life in Los Angles and also hear how a twist of fate and a little bit of luck helped him find his way into James Morrison's band...

As always we hope you enjoy this episode of Groovecast and we'll see you next time for Part 2!

A proper hang with a legend! Neal Wilkinson joins us for a chat.

Episode 7 of Season 3 is released at 10am on Saturday 27th April (so if you’re reading this blog - go and listen now!), and will be available on Youtube and Podbean. It should be on Apple Podcasts and Spotify soon after too!

Check back in next month for part 2 of our conversation with Neal!
