About the Hosts:
Ashley Walker
Ashley is a freelance bass player and singer based in Skegness, Lincolnshire. He started playing Bass Guitar at the age of 12 and left school a year later to pursue a career in music. He has enjoyed playing in many local shows including Legally Blonde, Sister Act and Cats. He also played at the Grimsby Auditorium for the Pantomime in 2019 and has been a member of Steve Walker’s Big Swing Band since then too. He is now halfway through his second season at Club Tropicana in Chapel St Leonards and is playing regularly at Butlins with his own band, Fusion. He has also recently released his debut album, ‘Straight Talker‘.

Charlie Smith
Charlie is a freelance drummer and percussionist, based in Teesside. He quickly made his name locally, working in big band, jazz and function band settings from his early teens. He has worked around the UK on various theatre shows including Islands in the Stream, as well as touring with artists such as Martin Stephenson & The Daintees. Charlie studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music in London, and holds a BA (Hons) in Music Industry Practice. He is currently balancing live commitments with private tuition and session work from his home studio.
