New Showreel Released

Recording Day (Photo: Faye Capes)

So, its been a bit of a week for video releases as you may have already seen!

First and foremost i’m really proud to share the showreel i’ve put together for my final degree project at ACM London, targeted at Musical Theatre work and showcasing drum and percussion play throughs of 3 songs, from Hairspray, Wicked and Jersey Boys respectively. Please do go and give it a watch, i’m really glad to have it out in the open now, after a couple of days worth of filming and recording, and weeks before of preparation and organisation.

After 3 years at ACM (and nearly half of that under the coronavirus pandemic), I am glad to be ending on a personal high, and able to share a project and product that for me sums up some of my musical strengths, and development as a player through my degree and onwards beyond that.

My greatest thanks on this project must go to my tutor, Toby Drummond, for his constant advice and guidance, as well as Harry Younger and Ethan Bonner for assistance with some of the technical side and collating some of the material together. Furthermore to those who i’ve spoken to out in the industry; Matt Whittington, Dan Hayward, Tim Goodyer, Max Mills, James Harrison, Pierce Tee and Adam Dennis, who’ve all given their thoughts and opinions throughout the development of the project. Finally to Faye Capes, who took all of the photos you see below. Without these, this really wouldn’t be at the standard it is now.

Please do go and check it out, I hope you enjoy it!
