Groovecast S2 Ep2: Iconic Albums, Aja & The Dude

Hello and welcome once again to Groovecast!

With our second season well underway, we wanted to waste no time in getting down to business and discussing what we believe to be a couple of the greatest and most influential albums, of all time. In todays album inspections, we take a look at the 1977 masterpiece by Steely Dan, Aja. As well as the 1981 Funk album The Dude.

Two iconic albums, two totally different styles and two young northern lads to guide you through! We hope you enjoy and we'll see you next time on Groovecast!

Groovecast is the podcast talking everything drums, bass, groove and beyond. Hosted by myself and top class bass player, Ashley Walker, you’d really be mad to miss it. Talking about the stuff we live and breathe, expect some in depth chats about the music industry, some legendary drummers and bassists, gigs, gear and everything in between, whether you’re a rhythm section player, a musician or just a casual music lover, there’s something in here for anyone!

2 Classic albums go under the Groovecast microscope!

Episode 2 of Season 2 is released at 10am on Saturday 27th August (so if you’re reading this blog - go and listen now!), and will be available immediately on Youtube (both audio and video!) and in audio format on Podbean. It should be on Apple Podcasts and Spotify soon after too!

Join us for a little catchup, as we get the cogs in motion for another season of Groovecast!

We’re right back and busier than ever! Lots in store for Season 2!
