Online at last!

Onstage at the Harlow Playhouse with ‘The Gambler‘, 28th Feb 2020

Well a website has been in the pipeline for a long while indeed, so what better time than now to make it happen!

Just another crazy moment in this whirlwind of a year, strange to think it’s a whole year now since I last stepped on a stage. The photos here are from the last show I did, a Kenny Rogers tribute ( The Gambler) at The Harlow Playhouse in erm…Harlow. To think walking on to stage that night, like any other, I had no idea what was to follow, a global pandemic, the shutdown of theatres, no live work for at least a year, and my final year at ACM London all on a screen. Sometimes it’s hard to see the positives in there, after a year where so many people have experienced hardships beyond belief.

The Gambler in the spotlight!

The Gambler in the spotlight!

But for me it’s been a wholly productive year considering! I’ve worked hard to get my degree very near to completion now, last year was filled with rehearsals for projects currently on hold. Not forgetting of course, a very productive few days at Blank Studios working on The Boys Heart (30th Anniversary) with Martin Stephenson. The album has not long been released and i’m proud to say its selling like hotcakes!

Alongside all of that i’ve been teaching online throughout the course of the pandemic, as well as taking on a drum teaching position in a nearby secondary school which has been a nice new challenge. I’m also finally kitted out with a nice home recording setup too, and one of the aims for the year ahead is definitely to put that to more use and get some remote work erupting from it!

Anyway i’ll try and keep this first post brief (Oh the struggles!) and will try and keep a semi-regular blog happening on here, though of course that’ll be much easier when I actually have things to talk about, and with the way things are looking, fingers crossed to be back out and hitting the road later on this year!

But until the next one, enjoy the new shiny website, and lets live in hope for 2021 being the restart of the live music industry.
